A Laid Back, Guest Focused Wedding at Virginia Park Lodge

On the 15th March 2025 we had the absolute pleasure of being asked to video Michael & Cathy’s super chilled Irish wedding day at Virgina Park Lodge. It had been a couple of years since we’d attended a wedding at this incredible venue and it was so lovely being back.

Right from the first email from these guys, we knew this was going to be a brilliant day. Michael & Cathy were so chilled, so relaxed and just wanted to maximise their time on their big day with those they love the most. All they requested from us was as many guest shots as possible and so we happily obliged! It is what we do best after all…

Michael & Cathy dropped any traditions that held no meaning for them. There was no cutting of the cake, or first dance, or even speeches. The couple met before the ceremony to get their portraits done and out of the way so they could instead focus on having a really laid back day, celebrating with their nearest and dearest, soaking up the March rays, in one of the most beautiful venues in Ireland. Their main focus on the wedding day was making sure their guests had the best time possible, and they got to spend every moment with them. We loved that!
