Not Even The Weather Could Ruin This Special Day at Orange Tree House

On the 13th of September 2025 we had the absolute pleasure of capturing Perry & Sorcha’s wedding at Orange Tree House (the venue where we ourselves got married many moons ago!) We hadn’t met these two before their wedding, but by the end we felt like we had known them our whole lives. A nicer, sweeter, more down to earth couple you’d be hard pressed to find.

The day started when we arrived at Perry’s mum’s house to capture Sorcha getting ready. It was so relaxed and everyone was in the best of spirits before heading off to Orange Tree House for the rest of the day. Perry & Sorcha’s wedding ceremony was simple, beautiful and a real celebration of them and their journey together so far. Check out some photographs from the day below…

After the ceremony was over, the four of us headed off to Grey Abbey for some portraits. (Would you believe us if we told you there was a guy dressed as a monk walking around. Maybe we all imagined it? Who knows…) Anyway, we got about 5minutes of couple photographs with Perry & Sorcha before the heavens opened. Luckily, we came prepared with our see-through umbrella which made for some pretty epic photographs.

Shaking and laughing off the rain, the couple returned to their guests to enjoy the rest of their day. As a reward for having such a great attitude towards the earlier downpour, these two were treated to the most glorious sunset over Strangford Lough.

All in all we had an absolute blast with these two. Just a simple, fun, happy wedding between two great humans surrounded by their loved ones.
